Images that explore the unique properties of watercolor to create good shape, value relationships, color harmony, and movement are my goal as a water color artist.
With an Undergraduate Degree in Fine Art from the University of Northern Iowa, an Education Degree from the University of Colorado, Denver Center Campus, and a Masters in Art Education, I conducted a 26 year career as an art educator in Jefferson County Public Schools, Golden, Colorado. Upon closing that chapter of my life, I began to focus on what I can learn and do as a painter. In Novermber of 2003 I began classes at the Art Student's League of Denver. Kevin Weckbach, Quang Ho, Mark Nelson, Dennis Pendleton, Barbara Froula, Sandra Kaplan, Ken Valastro and Mollie Favour have been my instructors at A.S.L.D.
